The recommended financial plan for fiscal years 2016-2018 now is available on the town website. The proposed budget was discussed at the Feb. 28 budgetary planning retreat.

Parking Lot Improvements

Civil War Anniversary

Alexander Dickson HouseApril marks 150 years since the surrender of Confederate Gen. Joseph E. Johnston, ending the Civil War in the Carolinas. Hillsborough will mark the occasion with a series of events throughout the month.


Planning a Visit

Hillsborough’s historic district features more than 100 late 18th- and early 19th-century structures. The town also hosts several natural and recreational attractions. The Visitors Center is located at 150 E. King St. in the Alexander Dickson House.
