This request from the Banks Law Firm is for a Special Use Permit to develop the site for 48 affordable family rental units (24 2-bedroom units and 24 3-bedroom units).  The units propose to make use of the affordable housing tax credits awarded by the state Housing Finance Agency to make the units affordable.  The application also includes a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan to designate the parcel for non-retail use and rezone the property from High Intensity Commerical to Multi-family Special Use.

The site is located at 490 Hampton Pointe Blvd which is at the current end of Hampton Pointe Blvd, beyond Walmart.

To accommodate the Housing Finance Agency schedule for funding awards, the Town Board  scheduled a special meeting on June 7 to make their final decision on the project.  The Board unanimously approved the 3 components of this request.  The resolution approving the Special Use Permit, which includes the conditions of approval, is attached below.
