Town Staff Directory

The town uses an automated phone answering system due to limited staffing. It is the most cost-effective way to direct citizens' calls for service. The town receives a high volume of calls, and the phone system is set up to prevent you from receiving a busy signal. If the extension you are calling is busy, you will be forwarded to the extension’s voice mail. Please leave your name and number; your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Emergency Service Requests — Water line breaks and similar emergencies should be reported immediately to the Water/Sewer Billing and Collections staff at (919) 732-2104 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday or at (919) 732-3621 after hours, weekends and holidays.

Work Orders — New trash cans, leaf pickup and similar requests should be made via the Work Order Voice Mailbox at (919) 732-2104 Ext. 222 or the Work Order E-mail. The mailbox is monitored twice per day, and you will be contacted or have the item addressed within seven business days. Please remember to leave a name, address, phone number and specific message about the service you need.
