Margaret Lane Sidewalk Project

The project calls for the construction of sidewalk along Margaret Lane in downtown Hillsborough. The work will include construction of curb and gutter, associated storm drainage, grading, erosion control, traffic control and pavement marking.

The bidding period closed at 2 p.m. April 1, 2010.

Complete plans, specifications and contract documents will be open for inspection at Town Hall; the offices of the Associated General Contractors in Raleigh; HCAC/iSqFt. Plan Room in Raleigh; and McGraw-Hill Construction Dodge in Raleigh.

Copies of the contract, specifications and plans may be obtained at the Hillsborough Finance Department, located in the Town Hall Annex at 137 N. Churton St., or by calling the department at 919-732-2104. A nonrefundable fee of $50 will be charged for copies. Payment must be made by cashiers check.
