Gold Park
Gold Park is a 20-acre park located at 415 Dimmocks Mill Road at the end of South Nash Street. Click here for directions. The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to a half an hour after sunset. The park includes restroom facilities, seven picnic tables, three picnic shelters, a multi-use field, playground, dog park, and extensive natural areas and pedestrian trails. Gold Park includes 0.3 miles of the Riverwalk greenway, and will eventually link to downtown Hillsborough via Riverwalk.
The large picnic shelter is available for reservation. Please note that the multi-use field is typically available for reservation, but currently is undergoing maintenance and will be closed until Spring 2011.
