Daily Crime Report — March 2, 2010

The following significant incidents were reported to the Hillsborough Police Department:

  • On Feb. 26, a resident of Gateway Apartments reported that someone broke into her apartment between 1 and 11:50 p.m. Feb. 25. The resident reported that a PlayStation 3 game console and three video games were stolen. There was no sign of forced entry to the apartment.
  • On Feb. 28, a resident of Harper Street reported a break-in to a nearby residence under construction. Sometime between 5 p.m. Feb. 27 and 12:50 p.m. Feb. 28, a window on the back door was broken. At this time it is unknown whether anything was taken from the residence.
  • At midnight on March 1, officers responded to an alarm activation at Kerr Drugs on U.S. 70 East. Officers found the door to the Kerr Drug Café had been broken and damage to a sandwich case inside. Officers also found damage to the main power box outside the business. Store employees responded and stated that nothing appeared to be missing.
